Homemade Hot Chocolate, Dairy-free

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp of agave syrup (or more for your particular taste)
  • 2 cups of almond milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Options

  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Melting down a bit of chocolate instead of using cocoa

Directions

Option 1:

Heat up the almond milk in a small pot on the stove. Stir in the rest of the ingredients with a whisk while on the stove and then allow to heat further (if needed) to the temperature that you want it

Option 2: 

Use a milk frother (mine froths and heats), put into the glass and stir in the remaining ingredients with a whisk.

Option 3: 

Just microwave away in a similar order.
