Murders. In small towns. ‘Nuff said… oh, the 2 guys are comedians who swear a lot. Their motto is “we’re assholes but we’re not scum bags” – because they make fun of small towns or murderers but never the victims or their families.

This is an old one but a good one. It’s not that old, but it’s one of the first to my collection of podcasts. Again, My Mavourite Murder is pretty self explanatory. They do their own favs, but also do read people’s hometown murders, which occasionally include ghost stories and survivor stories etc.

This is hosted by Evanna Lynch and a few others (like a guy named Robbie) and they talk about being vegan. A few were how to go vegan, vegan on a budget, spirituality, Harry Potter + veganism, they even did a PETA episode, although I still don’t like PETA much. I love the Chickpeeps. Even though I am not vegan, I love hearing about why people are and how to do it. At the very least, I can ry to gather ideas about how to do better for animals and my health.

This is hosted by Vanessa and Casper. It is another one of my original podcasts. I literally love it so much. Even though the “official” Harry Potter fandom has been disappointing me lately, there are still amazing nuggets in the community, like Harry Potter and the Sacred Text. They go chapter by chapter and read it through a theme and interpret it like a religious text. It is so inspirational.

They do 2 Friends episodes per podcast and analyze it. Unlike some podcasts about TV shows that simply review a show, the actually talk about how they felt about the show, about social perceptions etc. They’re reviewing the Joey show now, so you can binge on the Friends episodes and decide if you want to carry on or not after that.

Much like Best of Friends, they actually go into depth on Gilmore Girls, they talk about diversity, if things were homophobic, how they feel about Rory’s character development, how confusing it is that the town revolves around Rory and Lorelei, the family dynamics etc. They have wrapped up Gilmore Girls and started doing another show, so you will be free to binge watch.
