I have read 101 books since starting my blog and thought it was a good time to share the list with all of you. With links to all of my reviews, maybe you’ll even find one or two new books you’d like to read (or maybe more since this list is quite long). I can’t believe I have read all 101 books in the last 2 years since starting the blog. I’m also surprised to realize that this means I’ve only missed 3 or 4 weeks in the last 2 years (because 52 weeks per year would mean 104 books and here are 101). I read lots though. There are so many more book reviews coming up that all of you can check out, so this definitely isn’t the end.

2 ~~ The Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan
3 ~~Until We Are Free; My fight for human rights in Iran by Shirin Ebadi
4 ~~ Where Am I now? by Mara Wilson
Published September 13, 2016
Many of you might remember Mara Wilson as the girl from movies like Mathilda, Miracle On 34th Street and Mrs Doubtfire. But now she’s all grown up and, as the title says, where is she now? She seems like a super cool person and I liked reading from her persoective, after all it’s probably not super easy going from the spotlight to being more like a “normal” person, albeit with more notoriety than average.
5 ~~ The Call by Peadar Ó Guilín
Published September 6, 2016
A dark fantasy novel set in dystopian future Ireland. Featuring the Sidhé, this novel is based on Irish mythology/folklore where the Sidhé steal teenagers to their world in order to kill them. Unless they can survive the next 3 minutes. I loved this book. Sometimes it’s enjoyable to read a dark fantasy novel.

9 ~~ Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Published July 31, 2016
Whether or not you think it’s all that it was cracked up to be, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was a must read for me because I was so excited to find out how the wizarding world was after all this time. It features Harry Potter, Hermione, Ron, Ginny and so many old and familiar faces. There are also some new characters including Harry’s son, Albus, and Draco Malfoy’s son, Scorpius.
10 ~~ In the Country We Love by Diane Guerrero
Published May 3, 2016
In my opinion, In the Country We Love is such a relevant memoir today with immigration, refugees and undocumented immigration being such an important issue. I think it is so important to hear (or read) people’s lived experience with undocumented immigration because it really helps to understand what it’s really like versus making potentially negative judgements. For those of you who may not know, Diane Guerrero is one of the actresses from Orange is the New Black and her memoir is about her experience as an American born child to parents who are illegal immigrants, and, unfortunately, they were deported back to Colombia when she was about 14.

28 ~~ The Only Pirate at the Party by Lindsey Stirling

Lindsey Stirling is one of my favourite musicians (she is a dancing violinist who plays original music and things like the Assassin’s Creed theme, Star Wars and Harry Potter!). This is her autobiography / memoir recounting her childhood and rise to fame. She’s actually a super interesting person, not at all what I would have expected.
